Associate Prof. Dr. Madhav Prasad Ghimire, and Associate Prof. Dr. Gopi Chandra Kaphle, faculty of the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University, and Executive members of the CMPRC-Butwal are presenting their novel scientific works in the reputed conference named "American Physiccal Society - March Meeting" which is held every year in March.
Both of the faculties are presenting two articles in the APS-March Meeting 2019.

rof. Shoucheng Zhang, a veteran theoretical physicists and the king maker on Topological Insulators with his development of topological quantum field theory, dies at the age of 55 on 1st December 2018. .

Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University would like to congratulate Ms. Alisha Budhathoki for being selected by ICTP, Italy, for a training program on “Spring College on the Physics of Complex Systems” to be held at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy from 25th Feb. - 22nd March 2019.
